How Cerdan Studio handles the information this website collects.
Privacy
Privacy Policy
What this site collects about you, why, and what you can do about it. Last updated [date].
Draft for review. Placeholders are in italics. Have a lawyer read this before it goes live; it is written plainly on purpose, and plain does not mean complete.
The short version
This site collects the details you type into the contact form, keeps a small visit counter in your own browser, and [does / does not] use analytics. Nothing is sold, and nothing is shared beyond what is needed to reply to you and keep the site running.
What is collected
When you contact the studio
Your name, organization, email, website address and message are sent to [email protected] and kept in the studio's email and [CRM, if any] so you can be replied to and the conversation can continue. They are kept for [retention period].
In your own browser
The homepage remembers how many times you have visited, and whether you chose "always day" or "always night", using your browser's local storage. That information stays on your device. It is never sent to the studio or to anyone else, and clearing your browser data removes it. The site also reads your device's clock to set its colors; the time is used in the moment and not recorded.
[Choose one: "This site uses no analytics and sets no tracking cookies." or "This site uses [tool] to count visits. It records pages viewed, approximate location by city, and device type, and it does not identify you. You can opt out at [link]."]
Hosting
The site is hosted by Rogue Hosting. Like every web host, the server keeps standard access logs (IP address, pages requested, browser type) for security and troubleshooting, for [log retention period].
Your rights
You can ask what the studio holds about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, or ask that it stop being used, by writing to [email protected]. If you are in a place with specific privacy law (the EU, the UK, California and others), those rights apply to you and requests are honored regardless of where you live.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
When this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Material changes are noted here for [30 days].
